Pramod Mukhiya, a 26-year-old student from Ratra Vidyalaya, Andheri, is proof that ambition can flourish even in the most challenging circumstances. Born into a financially struggling family in Bihar, life took a difficult turn with the loss of his father. The weight of supporting his loved ones fell on Pramod’s young shoulders, but he faced each challenge with unwavering determination and hope.

Balancing work and education, Pramod currently serves as an Operation Theatre (O.T.) Assistant while simultaneously pursuing his Grade 9 education. His days are long, filled with the responsibilities of his job, and the evenings are dedicated to learning at school. Yet, Pramod holds onto a dream that is as bold as it is inspiring: opening his own hospital, a place where care and compassion are at the forefront.

It was through Masoom’s Tech on Wheels program that Pramod took an essential step toward making his dream a reality. Learning basic computer skills gave him the confidence to take on front desk tasks at the hospital, expanding his role and deepening his capabilities. These new skills not only helped him manage work more effectively but also sparked an interest in furthering his education in graphic and web design—essential tools that he believes will help him bring his vision to life.

Pramod’s story is more than one of resilience; it’s a testament to the transformative power of education and the support that lights the way for those who dare to dream. With a heart full of ambition and the continued support of Masoom, Pramod is on a journey to break barriers and build a future where his compassion and hard work change the lives of many.

Pramod demonstrates that with an unyielding spirit and the right enabling factors, even the most daunting challenges can springboard one toward a brighter future. His journey is an inspiration, proving that dreams can take root and grow strong, no matter where they begin.
