MIS Executive

Job Title: MIS Executive
Reports To: Director NSTP & ELC / CEO  / Sr. Program Head

Position Summary:

The position is responsible for looking after all program-related data is captured, collated, and synthesized to provide MIS for better quality of program-related decision making, overseeing, & managing the online MIS department

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Creating dashboards for all verticals
  • Use data analytical skills to process data
  • Experience in monitoring all dashboards and following SOPs
  • Understand the program activity calendar for the school
  • Interface with MIS Specialist to stay updated on progress against the activity plan, to be able to make relevant changes/modifications to the M&E framework
  • Work closely with the MIS Specialist
  • Track, review, and monitor the capture of relevant data for all the programs, resolve bottlenecks with reference to data capture and collation that the team may face
  • Provide regular feedback to the program staff about the quality of inputs and consult with
  • them to develop necessary reports
  • Oversee the data entry process on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
  • Create relevant reports required internally and externally as per the timelines established to highlight impact of programmatic interventions in the school
  • Conduct informal/formal audits of the program at an agreed frequency to understand operational issues/look for improvement areas in the program
  • Gather data from IOs and Program Managers to write reports and case studies. These will come in draft versions from IOs and will be reviewed by Program Managers.
  • Send case studies to Communication Manager as and when required.

    Qualifications:

    • Graduate or Masters in Computer Science or similar
    • 1-2years of overall experience
    • Prior experience in Project Management, M&E, and MIS handling preferred
    • Basic understanding of the social sector space and education domain is a plus.
    • Working experience with market research agencies considered a plus.

    • Proficiency is the usage of software tools and new apps which can be creatively used to create dashboards
