Communication Executive

Job Title: Communication Executive
Reports To: Director NSTP & ELC

Position Summary:

The Communication Executive is responsible for managing a company’s public image and information flow, crafting and executing strategies across media (press releases, social, events) and internal channels, while building media relations and ensuring consistent brand messaging to inform stakeholders and boost reputation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Documentation 60%

  • Making timely donor reports on the program’s progress and status based on the assigned donors.
  • Collecting information from the program team for the creation of case studies and impact stories. Writing and reviewing case studies and required documentation.
  • Creating proposals for donors.
  • Providing the reports to the Sr. Communication and Documentation Manager based on the mentioned timelines and reporting on the status of the reports and flagging any issues/concerns.
  • Making minutes of the meeting.
  • Making JCM PPTs
  • Making PPTs for Masoom partners

Social Media & PR (20%)

  • Prepare all drafts and content for social media, such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube, as per the requirements and the communication plan.
  • Ensuring and uploading frequent posts on the social media platforms and running campaigns as and when required.
  • Frequent updation of the website.
  • Creating a PR-based database and executing actions from the PR plan.
  • Outreach and managing relations with PR, with support from the CEO’s office.

Other Communication Activities (15%)

  • Planning and creating an annual communications calendar for all the events required.
  • Updation and implementation of the assigned tasks.
  • Follow up with the external agency hired for enhancing the organisation’s and the CEO’s profile on social media
  • Creation of e-invites and enhancing the look of PPTs, keeping in mind the brand, colours, etc. of the organisation
  • Scheduling donor-related meetings and carrying on the coordination as and when required.

Support to CEO and Other (5%)

  • Responding to Emails with a draft required by the Heads/CEO, Department, who have a challenge with the English language.

Qualifications:

  • 1 -2 years of experience in a like-sized organisation
  • Experience in communications is a must; marketing, journalism exposure will be added benefit
