Tragedy cast a shadow over Danesh’s life when he lost his mother during the Covid-19 pandemic. Orphaned at a young age, Danesh had already endured the loss of his father in 2016, leaving him to navigate life’s hardships alone. With no choice but to leave his home in Virar, he moved over 60 kilometers away to Bhandup to live with his retired aunt, who welcomed him with open arms despite her limited means.

Financial constraints made continuing his education difficult, and Danesh’s dream of completing school seemed distant. But he refused to let grief and adversity define his future. Determined to pursue his education, he enrolled in a night school, where he crossed paths with Masoom during one of the most challenging chapters of his life. Masoom became a lifeline, stepping in to offer not just academic resources but genuine support and care. With textbooks, worksheets, and extra Sunday classes, Masoom helped Danesh regain his focus on his studies.

Danesh’s hard work bore fruit when he achieved an outstanding 83% on his Grade 10 SSC exams, filling his aunt and the Masoom team with immense pride. Today, Danesh’s journey continues with guidance from Masoom’s Career Cell. He has taken the next step toward his dreams by enrolling at the Vakratund Institute of Hotel Management in Mulund, Mumbai, where he is pursuing a degree in Hotel Management.
